THREE PHYSICIANS
with Oncol-
ogy Hematology Care, Inc., (OHC) of
Cincinnati are now seeing patients at
CMH’s Foster J. Boyd, MD, Regional
Cancer Center. Tey are Dr. Nancy
Simon and Dr. Marcia Bowling, gy-
necologic oncologists, and Dr. Priya
Rudolph, a hematologist/oncologist.
DR. SIMON
,
who has been with OHC
since 1990, received her medical degree from the Univer-
sity of Michigan, where she also completed a residency in
obstetrics and gynecology. She also did a fellowship at the
University of Alabama at Birmingham
division of gynecologic oncology.
DR. BOWLING
has been with OHC
since 1986. She completed her resi-
dency in obstetrics and gynecology
at the University of Massachusetts
and her fellowship in gynecologic
oncology at Massachusetts Gen-
eral Hospital. Both Dr. Simon and
Dr. Bowling are skilled in state-of-the
art robotic surgery.
DR. RUDOLPH
,
who has been with
OHC since 2004, received her medi-
cal degree from Coimabatore Medi-
cal College, India, and her doctorate
in philosophy from Te Ohio State
University. She completed both an
internship and residency in internal
medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine,
New Haven, Conn., and a fellowship in hematology and
oncology at Yale New Haven Hospital.
OHC’s Dr. David Kirlin, Dr. Evan Lang, Dr. Duane
Sigmund and Dr. Patrick Ward are the regular medical
hematology and oncology physicians at the cancer center
while OHC’s Dr. Peter Fried and Dr. Elizabeth Levick are
the regular radiation oncologists.
Additional OHC physicians who provide coverage at
the CMH cancer center are Dr. David Waterhouse, medi-
cal oncologist; and Dr. Jefrey Grass, Dr. Michael Cross, Dr.
David Pratt and Dr. RalphWright, all radiation oncologists.

Dr. Lindsay spe-
cializes in breast reconstruction,
cosmetic and aesthetic surgery, hand surgery, craniomax-
illofacial surgery, microvascular surgery, body contouring
afer massive weight loss, skin cancer treatment, and
noninvasive skin care. He also treats minor burns and is
interested in starting a breast care center of excellence
at CMH’s Foster J. Boyd, MD, Regional Cancer Center
in conjunction with the general surgeons at CMH and
the physicians at the Boyd Cancer Center. Call

GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Dr. Lindsay, 33, moved his
family to Wilmington, where he practices full-time. He
earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia Col-
lege of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005 and his bachelor’s
degree in biology (cum laude) from Gannon University
in Erie, Pa.
He completed his residency from 2006 to 2009 in the
department of surgery at PinnacleHealth Community
General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pa., where
he became chief resident. He also completed a traditional
osteopathic internship at that hospital in 2005.

Dr. Lindsay completed an additional residency in plastic
and reconstructive surgery through the Ohio University
College of Osteopathic Medicine at Doctors Hospital in
Columbus. During this additional residency, he trained
with some of the most respected surgeons in the feld at
Te Ohio State University Medical Center, Grant Medical
Center and Doctors Hospital, all in Columbus.
Dr. Lindsay has done a number of professional pre-
sentations and symposiums and was recognized by the
American College of Osteopathic Surgeons for a presen-
tation on plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Lindsay is a member of the American Society of
Plastic Surgery, American College of Osteopathic Sur-
geons, the American Osteopathic Association and the
Ohio Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Lindsay grew up in Koppel, Pa., a small town
30 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. He was always inter-
ested in biology and chemistry. His interest in medicine
accelerated afer reading several books written by Dr. Ceril
Wecht, a well-known forensic pathologist from Pittsburgh.
Dr. Lindsay’s wife of three years, Heidi, is also in the
medical feld. She worked as a critical care nurse before the
birth of their frst child, Alexa, two years ago. She is now
a stay-at-home mom and helps her husband in the ofce.
Tey think Wilmington is a perfect ft for them.
“We were anxious to get back to a smaller community,”
Dr. Lindsay says.
His family expects to take full advantage of some of the
local recreational pursuits. “I love to cook and garden,”
he says. “We are sure to have a big garden. We spend lot
of time with my daughter outdoors, and I love to hunt
and fsh. My wife and I both golf too.”

Since February 2007, the Foster J. Boyd, MD,
Regional Cancer Center, 31 Farquhar Ave., has ofered a
range of services, programs and staf expertise fve days a
week. It combines the expertise of highly skilled medical
and radiation oncologists with professional nursing and
support staf, who foster a holistic approach that focuses
on the person, not just the disease.
Dr. Boyd, who died in 2010, was an original member
of the CMHMedical Staf in 1951. He became active in the
American Cancer Society (ACS) in the 1960s afer noticing
the high prevalence of cancer in the area. He would stay
active with the ACS the rest of his life and was integral
to CMH’s cancer services growth in the 1970s and the
program being frst formally recognized in 1991 by the
American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer.
CMH has a medical staf of nearly 200, which includes
more than 30 subspecialties.
